After 60 years of being married, January of 2003, Mom passed and Dad found him self alone for the first time with a new life and a new life style.  This new life was hard for Dad at first. The stories in this Blog revolve around family, finance, food, people, places and things. Friday Fish Tales stated as nothing more than a word of mouth up-date on Dad after Mom’s death. The question was always… ”How is your Dad doing?” I decided to start e-mailing updates. Others got wind of the e-mail stories and some started joining us for our weekly Friday Fish dinner at Dad’s favorite restaurant.  Over time, the title of the e-mail up-date / stories became Friday Fish Tales.
